help identify this early seal?
the body shop left this in my car? they also had a 66 912 and 67 911 in the shop previous to my car.my guess is that it is a sunroof seal but not sure since i don't have a sunroof. i personally reassembled my car so i know all the seals that would apply to a 68 non sunroof coupe. any early experts out there know? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1074097554.jpg

It doesn't look like anything in my sunroof. Maybe not a porsche part?
that would be funny if it turned out to be the seal for his bathroom skylight vent or something. and all of us are killing ourselves pouring through parts catalogs. :)
unfixed LOL. i can only say that i am honestly stumped. the seal did have come in a porsche parts plastic bag with the parts# partially readable. however the bag was opened and maybe the body shop just used it as a container. i will try and post the partial part # when i get home.

Maybe a rear bumper to body seal?
no, nothing to do with the rear bumper to body, rear lic plate panel to body or lic plate panel seal. how about those skirts on the bottom of the rear lic plate panel?
looks like a bolt on spoiler to decklid seaal. had one on my Carrera spoiler to decklid that looked a lot like that one.

I agree with Souk. Looks just like mine.
