They don't want the whole eggs, just the yolks.

It's a pretty big trend to put headlights/taillights from other cars onto crappy Hondas, and since the 996 headlights are so easy to steal they're a hot item.

Those headlights are super easy to take out. I saw a guy at the track with a 993 in which he'd cut out the backs of the headlight buckets; there's a simple level you lift and the whole assembly pops out.

The M3 guys lose mirrors left and right (get it?) all day long to the Honda kidz - they're a bolt-on upgrade. A friend of mine's M3 was relieved of mirrors and front spoiler one day in broad daylight at his office. They got it on tape, but not much they can do about it.

I just bought my new 993 mirrors and something dawned on me, those are the EASIEST mirrors to steal. And they'll sell for $300+ ALL DAY LONG. I'm surprised I haven't heard more about them being scammed.

Actually, I should give credit where it's due, it was the guys at the stereo shop that noticed this.

the hottest items in NYC are the headlights from the Acura and Maxima, every third or forth car I see on the road is missing the headlights. The sad thing is, if you leave the car on the street like that you will get ticketed for missing the headlights, few of my friends were insulted like that, first their headlights were stolen, then they were ticketed even before they saw the damage
