Are you sure there are no holes, they may be under the leather covering, push around with you finger to see if there are holes hiding in there.

My 1970T had them

also we can check you serial number, if you car is after mine, you have them for sure, if before you never know, my 1968 did not have the holes.

The hole with the grommet and tubes is for the rear window defoster. Wires come up from the engine compartment and are routed to each side of the window inside the seal then attach to the defrost grid.

All my 69's have the seatbelt holes.

Thanks for the "mystery hole" info Bob- I'm guessing the car may have had a defroster at on time. The car is a RS wannabe so originality is not a problem. I'm still in the "discovery" phase of ownership after 6 weeks. BTW, I'm looking for a set of fuse panels and covers if you guys know of any. I put a WTB on the parts board. Seems like everybody has the 8 fuse panel but not the 10 fuse one (which is the one I most need). Thanks again. Ray

Ray, I'll rummage around in the wiring box tomorrow but I've got a complete harness out of a '70 Targa, both blocks should be in there and intact!

Welcome to the board, enjoy the car!!

Thanks Dave. My panels had some numbers on the back of them. 21950 for the 10 fuse panel and 21948 for the 8 fuse panel. Don't know if this was a part # or what, but may help to make sure wer'e talking about the same thing. A mix up could be ugly. BTW, where'bouts in Raleigh?? I grew up off of 6 Forks Rd, Sanderson HS '76. Cheers. Ray

Thanks Tim. Dave in NC is checking on some for me also. If you have the panel (#21950 on the back) I'm interested , especially if it is in good shape and has a cover. I feel like I need to give Dave the first crack at the sale since he responded first. But if I don't hear from Dave and it's what I'm looking for, consider it sold. Cheers. Ray

Ray,
Yep, got it. 21950, with cover and even the paper insert that lists the fuses. This is pretty much tied right into the main harness- how do you want it? I can send the whole harness or clip the wires at the panel. Let me know, and name your price.

Sure I know Six Forks Road and Sanderson. Athens Drive '92 myself.
