sgweaky clutch pedal.

i just did the pedal cluster rebuild a few weeks ago. just tonight, i noticed the clutch pedal is sqeaky. i got the bronze bushing kit from PP and i trust the quality is good. i used white lithium grease on everything. what the heck did i do wrong? i dont want to rebuild it again. for the record, old time german engineer's must of had long ass arms and tiny heads, because getting under there is a pain. should i just spray some silicone oil in there?

Man, did I hate doing my pedals too. What a PIA. Sorry to hear your squeak is back.

I'd test with the silicone spray before you shoot down there - you may cause the lithium to come off a perfectly lubricated part - not good.

I dealt w the same problem before. The squeek sounded like it as from the pedals, but I sprayed some lube in the clutch cable at the transaxle............problem solved

The squeek also comes from the spring, spray the spring with a lubricant.
Has worked for me.

Mine too, sounded like it came from pedal, but put some lithium spray on the spring/ cable at the trans axle and it went away ( for about a month). Now I just do it when I hear it. YMMV
