In post 2411,the orange K3 for sale in Sweden is described as being chassis 9307700486.I have gone through my reference books and cannot find this chassis as a pukka race car.Is it therefore a replica based on a road car chassis? Can anyone help? Ian.

which engine No' is the engine as I have worked on some of John's 934/935's when working for (Dage sport) then G-Force, in the early 90's, I was not involved in the building of the car you have, but may have worked on the engine some time??

Hi Mike

The engine number is 0002, dooes that sound familiar? I'm trying to track down a sender for the electronic boost gauge and a pressure sensor for the cooling fan at the moment.

Yes, this car seems to be a replica based on a 1976 930 bodyshell. The 1977 factory made 935 had chassis-numbers from 930 770 0901 to 930 770 0913. The digit "09" means "special".
Maybe the car was raced in the 1980s in the Swedish GT Championship like some other original 934, 935 and replicas, for example 930 890 0016.

Interesting attachment of the rear trailing arms.

Those are not original guibos... those are rotoflex guibos and are what most of us used when we could not get originals. The originals are being produced again and are available . They are significantly better than the guibos you are running so you guys should change them

That car is worth about 150k ..... nice story on the chassis but who knows if it is true or not . Funny the guy wants to put so much stock in what Starkey says about the probability of what chassis the car is yet I know John never told him that the car is worth anything near what this guys wants for an undocumented , spliced and diced and unrestored "934" that has been sitting for 30 years

These photos were taken many years ago at Portland International Raceway. Mario Andretti looks quite young. Penthouse was his main supporter and they always brought alone a gaggle of women to the track. Needless to say the sound of shudders clicking was like thunder. One team offered to swap tee shirt with on of the models but she had to swap right there on the spot---and she did I was out of film

I was at Portugal's Estorial circuit last month for a Porsche event. The factory had swiped a few cars out of the museum and brought them to the track so Walter Rohrl could do some hot laps for our entertainment. Here are a couple pics (Walter is climbing into the GT1 on the left). I will post some more this evening.
