yeah, I'm gonna have to scan all my old pics.
Cegerer, I was at that rainy '80 race at M-O. Loved those Interscope cars, 00 and 01. I remember talking to their crewchief a couple of years after they had switched to the chevy-powered lolas and he wished they still had the Porsches.

Here's a site with a few more contemporary 935 pictures, even if the star was the much maligned 934.

pictures taken by the fans, there are a few gems in there.

BTW, be sure to check out the

Enjoy!

Ok Steve, I'm going to sneak this 934 in because a) it was the predecessor to the 935, and b) it was from the same 'rain race' at MidOhio I posted early. This car went off BIG at the esses and clouted the armco. The other side was pretty much destroyed!

edit: on 2nd thought, that's an RSR 3.0 not a 934!!

Keep em coming guys - I need all the pics I can get!

Here are two of my favorites at the moment - only because they were taken in my garage back in November!

The Cobra poster in the background has been properly replaced with the flying '74 Turbo RSR poster ... for inspiration

As of now, the chassis has been stripped of all panels, has been sand-blasted and is sitting in primer. When I bought the chassis over two years ago, it had door skins, glass and some rough fenders (the rears were "decent" 935ish, but the fronts weren't even close). I know nothing about the history of the chassis - I bought it from a guy in Daytona Beach to whom it was donated.

It definetly ran at sometime in the past - remnants of wiring, plumbing and minor damage. My guess is that it was built in the mid/late '80s but I have no way to be sure. The only IDs I've been able to find are a "Safety Devices USA Spec Rollcage - 087-355" sticker (not sure if thats a year-serial number or not) and CANADA stamped on the underside of the front cross-car frame rail. I'm interested in finding out whatever I can about it's previous history - even if it was some private effort. Any clues out there?

I hope to have it rolling by summer ... rebuilding slowly as time/funds allow. I hope to eventually have fun with it at some vintage race events someday.

934??? Uh Curt, doesn't it say "Carrera RSR" on the back of the car? And the flares and dual exhaust pipes all suggest Carrera 3.0.
