The Herman and Miller prepared 924GTR Previously in the blue TA radial livery. The K3 935 which now wears jagermeister Livery (pictured) is the #12 car AFAIK. His last white tub 964 3.8 RSR that they had to update to a 993 GT2 look and his 84 930 Turbo S. (Pictured) were these Art's other rides? Isn't the Coke car Bob Akin's?

Perhaps he owned the #12 at the event, and wanted to sell it to buy the K4 which was for sale at the event. I was told Art owned the K4 but I wasn’t told when. The #79 for OP. I’d buy it that’s for sure.

That might be. Art was a great guy and always cheerful. A talented driver and racer. He was still pushing a 94 3.6T around the track up until; a few years ago. My friends knew him better and might know more. Although I am surprised they haven't chimed in.
I do know he owned the # 12 car and was having an early RSR clone built for DE events but was never completed. A great loss.

If I find out more I will post.

I would love to have the #79 as well.

Art's 993 gt2 he built was bought by Nick G. He put a K3 body on it in coke livery.

Johan bought it, wrapped it, and it became JLP HD1

The #79 car Manda posted the photo of is car Gunnar built out of the spare jlp chassis

Now I am more confused. I thought the GT2 was the last white tub 964 3.8RSR rebodied as a GT2? I believe Tony Henderson should know the answers he worked on a lot of Art's cars.

You may be spot on as far as configuration when Art had it. My understanding was that he turned it into a GT2

Same intercooler in this shot of Art's car at the Sebring 12 in 1999

Fitzpatrick 935 K4

I've been looking for photos showing the underside of the chassis of the JDavid K4. I understand that Fitzpatrick modified the chassis to incorporate some form of ground effects. Noted are the side skirts seen in photographs from 1982-83. Perhaps some photos of the car during/after the restoration as the Lowenbrau car are out there? I've seen the Canepa beauty shots (Wow!), but none show the underside. In what photos I've found from the IMSA 1984 season, it's hard to tell if Holbert continued to use the side skirts. Any information would be of help. Thanks.

Art's cars

First and foremost, RIP Arturo.... I miss you and we all miss You!😞

The #12 car in the first pic is Art's 935 which was purchased directly from John Fitzpatrick.
He ran it in J David livery at HSR events. The car was completely restored and now wears the Jagermeister livery as it was built and run by the Kremer Brothers in 1980.

The Coca Cola Met car which is now a JLP 935 was Art's 965 that was later converted to a 993 GT bodied car.

Hope this clarifies things a bit.

M

Art's 935 the day I purchased it, not in the best condition.
