Something about washing the Porsche with the kids

Everything just seems to be OK...

Of course I have to show him how to do it right - clean the wheels like this, start at the top, circular motion - but I think he's getting it!

Personally I think that pic has nothing to do with father-son bonding. Instead it is a cleverly disquised jab at those of us that have the season called winter. Here in Ohio the water coming from that hose would be frozen before it hit the car

Seriously, nice picture. Pictures like that sometimes make me wish that I had a son to share good times with.

JEREMY,

The little guy is probably cooling off in the sweltering heat we've had for the past 10 days or so.

I can't wait until my little guy (11 weeks today) is old enough to help out.

My little girl hit 9 weeks yesterday. I can't wait to show her how to drive the 911. If she is anything like her mother, she will be a much better driver on the track than I am. Untill then, she can learn about air pressure in the tires, the anatomy of a turn, and all of the other things I am trying to master.

If she doesn't like it, that's her choice, but I will give her every opportunity to make an educated decision about the 911. Oh, yeah, she will be allowd to take it to the prom, as long as she is driving...

Here's the other one - She loves to play in the 911 - I think her 3rd or forth word was "Car" (I am so proud!)

My wife is pretty adamant that all the kids learn to drive a stick too - you have to like that...

Nice pic's Jeremy, it's always nice to have a kid's and Porsche's post. Here's a pic from my car's first wash last March. This picture is actually in a contest right now affiliated with Porsche Pete's Boxster Board. There are other nice photo's as well, but none with kids unfortunately.

Here's where you can see all the photo's in the contest:

Washing the car, working on the car and getting dirty and greasy, or just hanging out in the garage.... it makes for great "daddy & daughter time". She loves cars!

yep break em in the way you want em to run! My daughter is now 28 and a total P snob. She asked a guy the other day who was driving a 924 why he didn't just take the bus! I love that girl!

Allen: What a great pic! Love the colors, the smile, the hair. She even looks like she got in the action with dirt/scrapes on her leg, and is that a socket wrench in her hand?

Waybrig: Thanks, she was a big helper that day. Yes, it's a socket wrench, she had just helped me button up from changing the evaporator blower motor.... she was very proud of herself!
