Tie Rod Repair
I have an 84 911 with turbo tie rods. I just noticed that one of the rubber boots covering the ball joint has a tear in it. Pelican tells me they do not have a replacement for just the rubber. I was going to try to cover it with silicone but am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how you solved it.
TIA, Art |

I have just discovered this same problem. I am going to solve it by taking the car to the shop that installed them 9 months ago and have them replace them for free.
