Hummmm, nice sleeper. Value? depends on buyer. Some may prefer more original engine.

I have been fooled before with digital pictures. I really dont trust them anymore.

I'd have to see it and get all of the details before spending the dough. Digital pictures don't tell the story. I would want more info about the motor and how the swap was done. Some rust repairs were done, I would want details about those repairs as well. I would want to know more about how the car was painted...there are paint jobs and then there are paint jobs.

I don't know why, but I am DIGGIN those cookie cutters. All it needs is some moderate window tint and a good lowering, maybe a couple cibie lights on the hood and I'd call it a day.

I may look at it this weekend as it's in my area. I am not familiar with it, but the swap was done by a very respeced p-car shop in the area who has done work on alot of folks cars (3.6 swap in an 89, and much work on another guys 930).

For whatever its worth, I'm pretty sure this car was offered on eBay by the same seller about 6 months ago. Obviously, it didn't sell then--don't know why. Maybe it never met reserve?

He may not get his reserve so i'll look at it on the side after it ends. It's going to rain anyway.

you can never get out of these projects what you put $$$ wise, BUT you can with the joy that comes with being able to see a project to completion. This car might be a cool builder into a sweet DE car, etc.

Lot of money spent on that car only to show nasty rear seats and rust at the base of the gas pedal. I think that car has had a hard life somewhere in it's past. I should know, I have one just like it which I would not have bothered with if it weren't a numbers matching S.

This car was on ebay, probably 6+ months ago with most of the same pics. I was in the market for a '72-'73 at the time and I spoke to the seller on the phone. I can't remember all the details, but he was a little too slick for me to consider a long distance purchase. I wonder why he has a new ebay ID?

It starts on a dime!

Seriously, I think it's a pretty car, but I'd worry about some of the mods. Brembo front brakes with stock rears? Sounds like a not well planned mod. A 22mm rear sway bar. What's up front?

I noticed that he got the engine out of a cab and used the cab motor mount. He should have used his coupe mounts.

The Porsche crest is missing from the hood.

I have always liked the cookie cutter wheels though. I think they look better than the fuchs wheels.

Regards,

Jerry Kroeger
