Thumbs up This MUST be the best gas (pics)

I'm now a Sunoco customer for life. Took these pics on a recent road trip to the midwest. The stations here don't have this.

you should have seen the look on the girl at the counter's face, "who's this idiot taking pictures of gas pumps at 2 am?"

Conoco has that here in Colorado. And the rims appear t be about 13's with some 205/205 tires on them, smile.

We have the identical pics at local NOCO stations on the Right Coast.

PS- in New york State...Sunoco uses a 10% methanol blend...helps melt our delicate fuel ruber/ plastic components. Beware ! later cars might be OK with this, but not through mid 80's.

That's enough to make me want to take a road trip, (once it warms up a little).

No, it's a reverse graphic 72. The bone head is putting gas in the oil filler.
See it really does happen.
...with the oil filler repositioned rearward slightly.
Okay I'm dun!!

How long before Porsche lawyers sue for copywrite infringement?

A number of the convenience stores around Jefferson City, Missouri use that same screen display.

They use it here on a Hess station pump. I don't know about copywrite infringement...the gas tank is in the rear. Not an exact duplicate.

Same thing here at a smaller independant type station in the Bay Area. I think that this graphic may come with the pump rather than with the gas brand / station.

My wife pointed it out to me, of course I had seen it before and we had a good laugh about filling the engine up with gasoline.

The back of the car looks a bit like a camaro, it sure gives the impression as if it has a rake to it!

ha! yeah - first time I saw that was filling up at a Sunoco in Watkins Glen, NY while there for a DE this past summer. I figured it was unique little tribute to being in a track town. Nice to see its elsewhere!

I bet you're right George, it comes with the pump. There must be a Porsche guy working there.

I always fill up the SC at a station with that pic. I wonder if anyone notices but me. Several times I almost brought my camera to the gas station to get that picture with my SC in front, but I doubt you'd be able to see the screen.
