Installing new studs. Grease, anti-sieze, or adhesive?

What is the correct way to install a stud. Right now I am concerned about the tranny to engine case studs but am wondering about head studs and exhaust studs as well. Should I lube them? Anti-sieze them? or Use a stud adhesive (I think there's such a thing)?

Tranny studs: I don't use anything, they are a tight fit and I doubt they would work loose.

Exhaust studs: personally, I don't use anything on the head side of the stud. I use anti-sieze on the heat exchanger side of the stud that the nuts go on.

Head studs: red loctite.
