Finding a thread

How can I find this thread? Clicking on it doesn't work (maybe the ellipsis is the problem). Thx.

This is an oldie but a goodie and one of my favorite subjects, 911 electrical systems. Check this thread and all will be revealed:

On the Airguide- yes, the regulator is at the 6:00 position when the alternator is mounted in the shroud. The cutaway area of the Airguide is designed to clear the internally regulated voltage regulator, so that's why it's at the bottom. Warren's tech bulletin illustrates the cutaway, on the first page, the lower left corner, lower right picture.

Too bad we don't have the have the Thread #. In fact your link doesn't look a link to a thread at all.

Perhaps this will refresh your memory:

edit - I think you want the internal link in the post

The problem seems to be that someone copy/pasted the text of a message, with a link, without actually getting the URL of the link. For example, the address of this thread is:

h t t p : / / forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145007

I stuck some spaces in there so the BBS software doesn't parse the URL. When the software creates the link, it truncates part of the middle of the link to make it shorter, like this:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/145007-finding-thread.html

Not much help.

Is there a question here?

The question is...

How do I access the thread that is indicated by this link:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin...ighlight=d%2F61

Wayne 962 01-21-2004 03:24 PM

That's not a real link. Where did it come from?

The thread you're looking for is one of these:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=552857&s ortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending

The person who originally posted the original link posted it incorrectly.
