915 Tranny Question
Is there a way to tell which tranny's came with LSD from the factory? Part number difference, anything? How about euro trannies, what is the difference there.

There are several ways. You either give me serial # (not cast number, mind you!), or you look for sticker on the top of tranny saying "Sparrdiff." like this:
http://project911.luminasweden.com/log_images/164_6470.jpg or you check it by yourself by trying to turn output flanges in different directions like this: http://project911.luminasweden.com/log_images/lsd.avi If tranny is fitted with LSD you won't be able to do this w/o applying lot's of force...typically around 40Nm or higher... Clear as mud?
