Will it pass an emissions test?
 
Forget the visual. Will a 993 Vram motor with NO catalytic converter and a Cyntex chip pass the emissions test if it is in good tune?

As someone who has been back and forth with the CA referee after an 86 3.2 install in my 74, the sticker now says it smogs like an 86 3.2 with cat and all the usual 86 smog. I wasn't given any options either.

The guy who checked it out was no dummy either...he knew what a cat on a 911 was supposed to like too.:eek:
