Apbiz carpet
Has anyone removed the rubber add on of the center section? I have a center console in my car that I would like to reinstall, but think it would look strange with that rubber mat material under half of it. I will keep the material that's on the drivers floor mat, though.
Anybody unstitched it? Will it be noticeable?

My factory carpet had that rubber under the console.

For those who will find this during a search, in the future.
I wouldn't recommend removing the rubber. Appbiz glues it, too. I should have thought about that and called to ask them. Instead I unstitched a corner, peeled it up a little and rubbed the seem area. You couldn't tell that something had been stitched there, so I proceeded to unstitch the entire piece. I peeled it up and.... uh, oh, glue. 3 hours later it was cleaned off. I ended up using paint thinner to get it off and then washed the section about 5 times with Tide to get the smell out. Man, what a PITA. But, it's off and looks perfect!

So far it looks great! The rest of my interior is new (accept for the back seats), so the carpets didn't "match." Over-all, I'm impressed with their Appbiz's products.
