901 transaxle ID
Does anyone know what year the 901 (or 901 + 911) trannies changed from having the drive flanges with a small lip on them to having the flat drive axle flanges (the ones that take the larger dia. CV jonts)?
Anybody know p/n's for the CV's? Thanks! |

Randy,
The '69 models got the larger, 4-bolt CVs ... and either '69 - '71 CVs and axles, or the later, thinner '72 - '75 CVs and axles can be used.

Thanks Warren -- but what I think is a '69 tranny will not fit the CV joints with my '73. Does that make sense?
Also, if I did buy a pair of the older (smaller dia.) CV joints, will the splines fit onto my '73 halfshafts? |
