Or is this guy dreaming . Look at this ebay ad
Here is a pic of mine (yes the engine needs a little detailing). Kurt Williams ![]()

I've recently been investigating twin-plugging, and the Andial conversion of an SC distributor is about half the cost of what this guy is asking for his "converted" distributor.

I dont understand why anyone would want to use a distributor over the electromotive option . Of course the distributor looks nicer in my opinion . But other than that what gives . My cap and rotor are marrelli units . Did you price the going rates of those ? My engine was purchased done so the distributor was not my call . I should also note that the andial conversion has NO advance mechanism built into it . That leads to low rpm pinging if you want optimum timing on top end. Im about to post that problem in a new thread . Maybe there is an answer to that advance dilema .

See Steve Wiener's web site (Rennspeed, I think). A dist. allows use of wide plug gaps for a better burn and more hp. electromotive can't do this.

It never ceases to catch my eye when I see the lid open with one of those sitting there. Next time, though, I'll get down on my knees and bow to the East.
5K? I know a man that I seriously think could make a distributor for a lot less. He is mr. distributor and knows every one ever made. He is constantly adapting one kind to another motor or grafting the top part of one onto the drive of another. He wanted to put a Pontiac Tempest dizzy in my 914. |

You guys have seen the thread where BURN-BROS is about to start commercially producing and selling a twin plug distributor that uses the cheaper and readily available Marelli 12 plug jaguar cap, right? Unless I had a really correct car that needed a really correct Marelli RSR distributor I would hate to have a lot of money tied up in one of these when Aaron's distributor becomes available.
