bolt holding oil pipe clip - how does that work

Hopefully an easy one this, we are about to tackle changing the oil pipes that run from the dry sump to the thermostatic valve on a 1984 3.2 supersport (turbo look in US I think).

Having lubed everything up ready, we were checking out the clip that sits on the top of the inner wing 1/2 way between the dry sump and valve, it just holds the 2 pipes in place. The stud and nut look really bad, the concern is what if we strip the stud or break it off? I am assuming it is just welded on the body is that correct?

It appears to be located to a chassis member, I dont think you can get behind it - does this sound about right?

Many thanks

H

yes, it is a M6 stud welding in place.
