Engine Rebuild Complete!

After 3 months of working nights and weekends and waiting on parts I would forget to order until I needed them the engine rebuild is complete! I wish I could say I was going to have it back in and on the road next weekend, but I am going to replace all the suspension bushings first. I did a complete SSI and heat backdate which required a bit of modification to the engine tin, but really not that difficult. Wish I could start it up and listen to the sound, but for now I can just sit and admire it. Here's couple of pics:

Kurt,

Nice work!!! Beautiful engine. I know what you mean, I have to wait until spring to drive my car as it's in the single digits here in Michigan. Just think of all the fun you'll have this summer!

Halm 01-25-2004 03:42 PM

What other mods besides the SSI's? Looks beautiful! Any idea when you'll have it on the road?

Nice work . . . when my 3.2 grows up I want it to look that good. Do tell about the internals.

Did you powdercoat or paint?

Rot 911 01-25-2004 04:41 PM

I went with paint. We'll see how long it lasts.

Kurt V,

Absolutely fantastic. Makes me feel like me feel like a clown for wrestling with a type IV rebuild - hahahaa. Seriously though...

EDIT: I guess that makes me twice the clown now...

ZOA NOM 01-25-2004 05:17 PM

Woof!

Absolutely GORGEOUS!

Be proud, man, that is SWEET.
