Engine Rebuild Complete!
After 3 months of working nights and weekends and waiting on parts I would forget to order until I needed them the engine rebuild is complete! I wish I could say I was going to have it back in and on the road next weekend, but I am going to replace all the suspension bushings first. I did a complete SSI and heat backdate which required a bit of modification to the engine tin, but really not that difficult. Wish I could start it up and listen to the sound, but for now I can just sit and admire it. Here's couple of pics:

Nice Kurt! Fix the pictures so we can see...
Yeah Kurt, come on. The only thing we see is the little red x in the box.
Fixed!
Kurt, that is a thing of beauty. Congrats.

Kurt,
Nice work!!! Beautiful engine. I know what you mean, I have to wait until spring to drive my car as it's in the single digits here in Michigan. Just think of all the fun you'll have this summer! |
What other mods besides the SSI's? Looks beautiful! Any idea when you'll have it on the road?
Nice work . . . when my 3.2 grows up I want it to look that good. Do tell about the internals.
Looking good!

Looks like an angry bumblebee!
Yeah! More Yellow engines in Guards Red 911s. I love it :)

I went with paint. We'll see how long it lasts.
Nice job Kurt, good luck with it! Now just wait until the weather breaks and have fun.
