Nice to see the Z4 getting its butt kicked. Then again, the older 911's were too! They looked real nice...reeeeaaaal nice.

That was a great clip of a "normal" very well driven lap. The Frank Stippler clip is still my Ring fav. Balls out GT3RSR in a race. It feels fast and scary. The in car 956 with derek bell is very fast but they are so good it lacks the edge of disaster feeling that watching Frank's lap gives me.

You guys deserve to win this year - last year, too - and I've seen too many stock, track-driven 3.6 rod bolt failures to keep quiet. Maybe a varioram 3.8 is in BB2's future? ![]() Last edited by Mr9146; 01-27-2004 at 02:35 PM.. |

Focus
Too bad that whenever there's nothing in the middle distance to focus on (like the silver car), the camera focuses on the raindrops on the windshield and everything else gets a little blurry. The cure is to turn off the autofocus. I know, picky picky.

ok I can't get this thing to work. The error says that an appropriate decompressor cannot be found, so the video plays but with no sound. I have Internet Explorer 6 and my security settings are at "medium-low". What gives? I really want to see this with sound!

I couldn't agree with you more! I've been grinding away at Jack, trying to get him to let me tear it down for some ARP rod bolts and some cams, at the bare minimum. Apparently he needs to sell another script before that's in the budget though.

Thanks so much for posting the video.
I really like Frank Stippler's too, but it's not as clear. The guy in the silver 911 at first did not take advantage of many opportunities to pass the slower cars, then blocked the yellow car for a while too.

What was that, some track open to anyone? I saw crappy mini's, vw bugs and assorted other family cars out there. Quite a mix..........

Thanks Kevin, finally got it to work. Awesome. Yeah, open track day at the Nurburgring...you can just pop off the Autobahn, fly a few rounds, and get back home. There's a great deal of damage, though, as a lot of drivers overestimate their skill.
Does anyone have the link to the Stippler video??

Wow, thanks. I had never seen that. I though you were referring to Stippler driving the yellow bird and doing a lot of sliding.
