Hylomar - source needed
 

Does anyone have a source for Hylomar blue sealant. I checked a local tool store and a autoparts store both with no luck. They only carry the RTV crap.

It seems our host does not carry it either.

Your local Land Rover dealer will be able to supply it. We use it all the time at our store, it is recommended by the factory. I can give you a part number if no one in your area can help.

What was once exclusively marketed through the UK is now (has been for a few years) in a store near you...

Hylomar is now marketed through Permatex...
You can get it almost anywhere... look on the Permatex rack...

I checked a couple of local auto parts stores but they only gave me the evil eye probaly thinking I was looking for something kinky :)

I'll check NAPA and some more tomorrow. But Cutters is nearby and is the local Porsche and Landrover dealership. They should have it, too

I have about 20 tubes here in the shop, unfortunately they don't belong to me ;)
Pep boys used to stock it but last time I looked they were out.
If you get in a pinch try McMaster carr or Grainger, they might have it. I'm too lazy to look in the catalog right now but they have online at www.mcmaster.com

Somebody local's gotta have it?

I found it at a local auto parts store here in Goleta. It's 8 bucks. The Land Rover dealer in town wanted 24 bucks and didn't even have it in stock.
