did you guys remove the material outlined in yelo? it's the thin black sheath like material that is different from the "horsehair" material. seems to me i should remove it to keep inspecting for rust. plan to por15 then insulate with brown bread and v-comp. luckily just surface rust and not structural so far.

Hi Bob - yes, I removed everything back to bare metal to be absolutely sure. Also cut off all brackets for rear seats, luggage deck, etc.

Will pm you later this evening about the hinges.
