Hi all,
I've recently begun the expansion of our Porsche catalog to include the more desirable aftermarket parts and accessories for our 911s. Just a few of the new products that we now offer are Tarett Engineering’s Fully Adjustable Hollow Sway Bars, 911Chips performance chips for your 3.2l Motronic motor by Steve Wong (no relation), and RS America Style Door Panels by Applied Business Concepts (AppBiz). From time to time, I'll be featuring more of the new products that we offer. If you have questions about any of these products, please feel free too send me an email. As always, your comments, suggestions, and feedback are always welcome. Thanks! eugene@pelicanparts.com

Thanks for the update. Any chance the Tarret bars will be coming in larger sizes?
Cheers, James

They sway bars are also listed as '74-'89. Will they fit pre-'74 cars?

Josh,
Yes, the front bar fits 66-89 and there is a rear bar that also fits 66-73. As for bar size, 22mm is the only size offered. It’s significantly stiffer that a 22mm Welt bar due to the solid bushings and rod ends, and the large range of adjustment will accommodate any setup. One of our quickest customers actually has a custom softer (19mm) bar that we built for him. The philosophy here being to run stiff springs and relatively soft swaybars for fine tuning the suspension. A winning combination that has won the POC Tribute To LeMans twice. Ira

Ira, This is interesting. Most of us East Coast types run stiff suspension and sway bars. I run a 23/31 torsion bar setup with 27mm sway bars. This was a preferred method as used by Mark Donohue( Stiff sway bars) and seems to work well at our local tracks9 Watkins Glen, Limerock etc.)
Cheers, James

What does it take to fit the door panels to a 1972?

Are these any different than the Weltmeister Hollow Pro Series bars? Seems like a similar item right down to the Kevlar stuff.

Congrats to Steve Wong! Wayne, I'm really glad to see you peddling his chips. I bought one from him last year and found he really stands behind his product and was extremely helpful. I don't care what some people say, the seat of the pants hp boost is there!

Ditto from me on the Steve Wong Chip. I agree with Chris' statement above.

The Weltmeister bars are merely a repackaging of Tarret's sway bars at a higher price.
