Felmir, two dumb questions... what kind of material do you use to bond the fiberglass to the steel, do you have any picture of the area above/around the engine lid where the fiberglass meets the steel? you can send the pictures to jriera3@attbi.com

I will say that papa should be proud!! the car looks great!

I used SEM Multi-purpose adhesive (part number 39957). It's used to bond FG to steel panels. The nice thing about it is it has a 60 minute cure time so you don't have to work very fast before it sets. The stupid thing about this stuff is you have to buy the SEM gun which is fairly expensive. I could loan you my gun if we could work out a deposit agreement (Like I said, this thing was expensive).

I finally got my hosed PC to work. Here's some additional pictures. You have to have a "strong stomach" to cut into these cars. After you start cutting, there's not turning back!


Note: the rust that you see flashed overnight. It was fully sanded off before the epoxy was applied. (Just so you know).
