How about this Color??
What do you think of this color for any car, let alone a 911?? I've listed this on the board for my buddy's Dad, who is supposedly color blind (not surprised). After some research I've learned most of these cars were custom colored, which explains the crazy colors.
Works good if you want to be noticed, but not sure how long I could take that interior?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1075303354.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1075303367.jpg |
You would have to pay me to drive that car. Even then I don't know if I would
|
oh man...that's bad...you'd need to get your Flock of Seagulls haircut again...
|
Is that aqua or turquoise?
|
I really like the exterior color -- 911s can "get away with" many colors other cars shouldn't dare.
However, the interior color causes retinal scarring. Lose the mirror condoms. JP |
I wonder if the interior could be "saved" with black seats and maybe door skins. I really like the exterior.

Yeah, the outside would work with the right interior. I think a white interior and it would be a nice ladies car. Black interior would tame it a bit.
|
I'm severely color-blind and it looks good to me. Maybe that's saying something...
|
I agree - I actually like the exterior color, but maybe with a black interior. That interior color would have to go - but I am not sure what you could do with it??
|
Maybe a drop dead gorgeous blond in Palm Beach could get away with driving that...but that's about it.
Tell the color blind guy it's the most beautiful car you've ever seen. |
That is a georgous color.
It needs a tan interior to make it road legal in MT. You'd get SHOT driving that up here. But I love the exterior. |

I like the exterior, but the interior needs to be saved!! Black leather dye or better yet, replace it all!
|
Call me crazy, but I love the interior, it's a classic example of the "special wishes" program doing whatever you want to the car. If it were mine I'd probably add some carbon fiber here and there to tone it down a bit, but I definately wouldn't ruin the character of it by changing/dying the pieces to black.

That color is the best theft deterrent ever!
No thief wants to draw attention to himself. For me, I could get used to just about any color on a Porsche if it were an exceptional car. BTW, that interior color is very close to a current standard selection on 996 & 986 called Nephrite Green. |
Anybody else think the interior color matches the trim on the house? That's an interesting coincidence, I'm sure...

...and I thought this purple and white combo was bad! http://gallery.rennlist.com/albums/albuo15/interior.jpg  |
I think it's nice on the outside, but the interior should be black.
|
Interior is worthy of prosecution. OMG!!! That's horrible. Zebra-striped, shag carpet iterior would be better that that green. Ext. is pretty cool though.
|
I like the interior and exterior of the car, as long as someone else is driving it. The color does match the blinds in the house. Hmmmm, "your buddy's dad" ?????. I wouldn't admit he was my buddy either, unless she is the georgous blond from Palm Beach.
