Talking Parking Brake info and part needed

While repairing a frozen parking brake cable and after ordering the parts for Pelican I descovered a steel tube that the cable goes through and resides at the backing plate is rusted solid. It is about 4 inches long with a flute at each end. I went to my friendly Porsche dealer who informed me they were $19.99 each plus $25.00 for next week shipping, if they had them somewhere which he didn't know because the computer is down. Sound familure. Anyway, anybody have a pair they can sell, lend, donate, give up, I would appreciate it. This little job is giving me a headache. It is part 50 on the drawing. Thanks

Well, I emailed them but no reply, not even a "go elsewhere." I'll try to place a call. Thanks.

Call successful. Because I attached the drawing above thy kicked me out of the system as a virus protection method. The parts are on the way. They were very helpful and knew immediately what I wanted.

I had the same problem, the cable was rustwelded inside the tube. Got the drill out, drilledout and re-reamed the tube and back in it went with the new cable...
