please help with paint code
 

My 1976 911 has a paint code of 255-9-3. It is currently painted Aubergine and I was wondering if the repaint is the original color. I have searched all over paintscratch.com with no luck.

Hmmm, I can't find that code either, maybe it was a paint-to-sample car. However, all the 3-digit codes I have seen that start with "2" are for various different shades of green. Interestingly, the code for aubergine was 025, so maybe there was some confusion when it was repainted (025 = 255)?

the color under the respray is the same color also, but it apperars that there is also a white color under that. Could the white be a base for the Aubergine??? or could it have been origionally white?
