Trans storage/Sporto Trans Oil
What's the best method for storing a spare trans, don't tell me to fill it with Swepco 201?
Just fill it with some new oil, what type, the cheap stuff ok?Also anyone have experience with Swepco 201 in a Sportomatic?

I have just purchased a '72 Sporto from seller who is a professional Porsche mechanic in a shop in Connecticut. He just changed the gear oil and used 75/90 wt Swepco which he suggested I continue to use, although it will not need it again for 30,000 mile (unless it develops a leak). The torque converter in a Sportomatic uses the engine oil, not gear oil. It is changed when the engine oil is changed.
