I like it! What does the back end look like and where did you see the picture?

I'm sure someone will chime in and say that it has already been posted.

Looks a bit like a Ferrari Maranello.

Unfortunately this car will probably cost upwards of $120k if it ever comes out.

Have you heard of the Cayenne? It's Porsche's best-selling vehicle in North America. BTW, that first picture is clearly a Maserati Quattroporte with the front of the Carrera GT photoshopped on there.

Why not? 'Even' Ferrari has made a proper 4-5 seater, although it was still a 2 door. (Mondial)

Cayenne is a SUV ...this 4 door Porsche is what? Porsche seems to be moving away from a race car to a luxuary car.

This is the "proposed" 928 replacement. It wil be a four door.

The assembly line pictures are not the top car. Mirrors are different. No rear ducts. I think these are GT coupes.

I thought they already did that with the 996...now they're just adding 2 more doors.

actually, every iteration has been more "luxury" and less "race", with the exception of various RS incarnations.

996 is luxuary? hmmm how so? i think the 996 is the best porsche has evolved into(i am sure i will be flamed) theres many that hate the 996 because its nothing like the 911, which is true one is a classic, the other will be a classic

I actually like the 996.

But, it still has a ton of luxury to it though. Nothing wrong with luxury I suppose, but going to a 4 door sedan for Porsche is no more surprising than any of the newer model Porsches. More power to 'em I say.

moazam define your word of luxuary in the 996? to me it has the same features that many 911s had when they were fully equipped with options. the 996 is just a newer designed body. Every time i see one here i go "damn i want one"

It's hard to explain, but I'll try.

To me, the base 911 Coupe and Convertibles look like 'Sport Luxury' cars. Similiar league as Jaguar XK8/XKR or so..

Oddly enough, the Jaguar XKR "luxury coupe" has more HP and torque.

in the 70s, you could get power windows as an option. By the 80's they were standard. In '89 the new 964 had power steering. By the 996 there were selling a ton of tiptronics, had cupholders, PSM, etc.

They've always been a grand touring car, with the luxury bar being raised every year. 4-door is a logical model between the pepper and the 911.

The car looks good, but apart from the Carrera GT front end (yeah lets repeat the mistake we did with the 986/996) it doesn't really look like a Porsche. Of course it's just a photoshop picture.

Darn Photo Shop!!!!!!

I like it, The Cayenne is to much for me, but a smooth, fast, luxary Porsche, I like it. I can only take 1 person at a time around in my car, I hate that some times, especially when two women want a ride at the same time
