what would you pay?

I am in the middle of a discussion with my wife as to what I am going to pay to have some work done on my car. Now I realize that the cost of things here in Europe are not the same as in the US...but give it your best guess.

To start with I am going to throw out a rough figure (5k euro or $6.5k) to get in a target range.

Here is the list:

Replace old 915 tranny with used 915 w/cooler (2k euro)

Replace damaged F/R fender (500 euro)

Replace damaged H4 lamp retaining rings (100 euro)

Install SC flares (?)

Paint the F/R fender and SC flares (?)

Labor (?)

What do you think?

Do you know the elfertreff site? I'm sure you could get some really good - and local - advice there.

I'm not really into German prices, but the guys at elfertreff are. Still 5000 - 6000 Euro sounds a bit expensive to me

Don't forget- you'll need new wheels for the SC flares

Well If Mikkel is correct and my guess is on the high side, maybe a pair of 16"x8" wheels could be in the budget?

Thanks for the info guys...any other ideas?
