Hello, Diana! Where in Spain are you located?

Post pictures of your car, if you can. We'd love to see them.

The people here will answer all your questions about the car. This is the most helpful forum I have ever found.

P.S. Your English is fine! Don't worry about it.

Diana,

Here is an article that will help you on the torsion bar replacement..

911 Torsion Bar Replacement

For information (with pictures) on the bump steer kit and the turbo tie rod installation, you should buy the 101 Projects for your Porsche 911 book. It has articles on both of these topics. Make sure you buy the book from Pelican Parts and not Amazon. The Pelican version comes with a computer CD while the Amazon version does not.

Welcome to the board. You're not the only person from Spain here There's also Paco Anton with his 911 SC Targa.

It is my duty to inform you that you have to post a picture of your Porsche. That is something ALL new members have to do

Benvenut! (I hope this approximation of Valencian-style Catalan can be acceptable to you!). I for one are ALWAYS ready to convey my very best greetings to any aficionado peninsular !

I'm (very precociously) preparing my trip to Spain in May 2004, I intend to go "wherever it doesn't rain" with my Carrera (and my wife ) so I been looking at rain statistics for major Spanish cities. The north coast is NOT promising! Month of May statistics show it rains double as much there as in Belgium, incredible! I guess we'll have to stick to the center or east. We've never been to Valencia, seems like a very interesting city...

Bon dia!!!!!I'm from Spain too. I'm from Pego, Alicante. So we are almost neighbors.Although I'm living in the U.S. for now. I'll help you translate whatever you need. I'm just learning to work on my 80SC so i'm more in the listening stage than in the advice giving stage but I'll help however I can. Just let me know.

Hola Diana,

I am from Madrid. I have similar issues with the suspension of my SC. Take a look at the tech articles in this site. They are great:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911tech_articles.htm

Also buy Wayne's book. It covers everything at a very basic level, with pictures:

http://www.101projects.com/Porsche-101/index.htm

I can help you with the English. send me an email to:

paco_anton (at) yahoo.com

And last but not least, visit Piel de Toro, a forum for Spanish Porsche users, full of helpful people just like Pelican:

Saludos

Paco
