Wow that looks bad. Really unfortunate, but be happy that nothing worse happened. Hopefully you'll have the car fixed by spring.

mikkel, it IS spring here...well, not today...but the past couple days it's been in the 50+ degree F range. 10 deg c?

we should be able to fix it....I told eric that he should post about the "newest, easiest, way to remove undercoating/sound deadening"

We can fix it.

Wow. Glad you weren't hurt. My friend's sister-in-law was killed on a freeway by a starter motor that fell off the back of a truck that was en route to a salvage yard. The starter hit the road, bounced up, and went right through the windshield, hitting her in the head. Sorry about your 911, but great that the debris wasn't 2-3 feet higher.
