New or cut-to-length Bowden Cables???

I am reworking my ventilation controls as I redo my dash a bit. With my Electrocooler setup the Bowden cables in the car are not long enough. Well one of them is not long enough, and one was bent by a PO.

I cannot seem to find a source for them anywhere.....ideally a cut-to-length option would be great as the cable that is too short is the longest one.

My first thought would be an aircraft supply like Aircraft Spruce.

Otherwise automotive choke cable or throttle cables like an old tractor would use for a PTO.

Buy a Universal Choke replacement Wire from Ace Hardware. Then cut to length.

I used a guitar string to fix my broken cruise control.

The bike cables I have found (as an avid cyclist) are all woven stainless thread. As a result they wont tolerate the S-Bend on one end to go through the levers. Now the housing will probably work.

So I will take a wire to Ace HW and see if I can find that one, and if so I will go to my buddy's bike shop for housing and report back.

Search for custom "control cables" or "bowden cables."

Here is one source, no experience with them though.
