Porsche Crest What size nut?

What size is the big nut that holds the steering wheel on? It was 24mm on my 944 but the 911 nut is much bigger. We all knew that the 911 has bigger nuts though, didn't we...

I just took my apart. i used a 28 mm socket to take it off.
