RGruppe/Early S/etc east coast caravan route to Rennsport

As mentioned before, Curt Egerer and I are planning to caravan down to Daytona in April. We have come up with the following itenerary in hopes of picking up a few more people along the way. Anyone who is interested in hooking up with us is encouraged to email me at "cornpanzer@sbcglobal.net"


Weds April 21 - Afternoon
1:00PM Meet at Dave C's house in Centerville (S. Dayton) Ohio
I-75 south Through Cincinnati, Lexington, Knoxville (I-40E) and ending at Asheville, NC (approx 410 miles/7 hours)

Thursday April 22- Morning
8:00AM leave Asheville
I-26 south through Columbia (11:00 am), Savannah (I-95S), Jacksonville and ending in Daytona Beach. (approx. 550 miles and 9 hours)

I will attempt to organize a list of potential cruisers and we can all caravan down together. Strength in numbers, right?

I belive there is a large group of us gathering in charlotte and heading down there via I95 as well.

Corn, I think Curt and Tom Morgan (Racemor) have been in touch trying to figure out how to hook up with the NC contingent heading south. I'll make sure Tom sees this thread.

Dave, I'll shoot you an email, but Tim is right. there is a large group meeting in Charlotte to start our trip that Thursday including from the board halm, dtw, p-thomas, charnock, jhelgesen, myself and maybe more along with a bunch of cars from our local PCA. Curt and I had spoken before about it, I hope some of the route plans I gave him helped.
