OK DAMNIT, I've downloaded the 3.5 patch from http://www.nd4spdworld.com/?section=util&v=5

And I'll try the game, I direct on the internet so no FW will interfere. If it works you can get me at:

Yeah that's what I'm taking about...rolling, crashing, all good.

I have a custom car and someone said they couldn't see it. Is it because others don't have the graphic? I would've thought the developers would have taken this into account.

And yes I need a wheel, the keyboard just doesn't cut it.

I'd like to try connecting through my firewall to someone else next time (tomorrow) to make sure it works.

just to clarify, the v3.5 patch, isn't an XP patch. it's a patch for the game. i'm running it, and most who play online run it. i dont know why, but we do.

bob try this ip....

192.168.1.100

when i check my ip # through my browser i get the first one i typed above. but when i create a game, in the top right corner it has that ip number, 192.168.1.100.

what's up with that?

Q. How can I play internet games (i.e. Ages of empire) with the router?
A: Enable DMZ in Advanced Features of the web configuration screen. For example, if your computers IP address is 192.168.1.102, enter the last three digits, or 102, in the DMZ field. You may also try using the port forwarding option instead of using DMZ.

try this settings change and see if it works.
