Cost questions - Swap or Rebuild
What would it cost to swap a 3.0 into a 69E? What is the going rate for a top end rebuild for a 2.2E?

From what I have seen, the cost of paying someone else to do it:
Swap ==> $1,500-2,000 plus engine. Top End ==> $2,500-3,500 plus valves plus "extras"
