Looking for recommendations for a PPI in Alpharetta, GA
 

I want to get a PPI for a car near Atlanta, GA … it’s in Alpharetta, GA. I'd appreciate any recommendations for a complete PPI including a leak down. This could be my first Porsche. Thanks.

Jack Lewis in Norcross or Performance Imports in Chamblee. Both relatively near Alpharetta.

Pay for a head stud check too. Or maybe a broken stud would turn up in a leak down - I dont htink so neccesarily.

It's an '86 being sold by David Foree of BimmerClassics.

Dont know that one. Are you knowledgeable? what are the details?, miles, color, mods, price and stuff? Maybe we can tell you some things to be aware of? There is a shop called "Roook" its right in Alpharetta, very convenient. They seem knowledgeable, if you specify exactly what you want on your PPI you shoudl be allright. They work on mostly newer Turbo stuff but seem to know about the air cooled cars. I dont know anything about them.

I called the Performance in Chamblee, but they are at a Porsche event until Wednesday. Has anyone had experience with Jim Ellis Porsche or Hennessy in Alpharetta?

Sorry, I think they are in Chamblee. I need them to have aftermarket turbo experience.

You could also try Kerry at International Performance Center in Roswell. 770-998-2589. Straight forward honest info. BTW Roock is out of business in the U.S now. Strange circumstances, but they packed up and left FAST.

I will second Kerry...he has been at it a long time, and is well established in Roswell.
