Doing a Porsche and Carrera side script run....basic stock is black, white, red and baby blue....all come with Carrera RS tail piece with the proper font(s)....any custom colors or artwork can be done NOW if you order....NOW.

I have some of the "electric blue"....it was used for the SO Cal Gas company.....it's a dark iridescent blue.....silver I have as well as a one off, "chrome"....

Can you do a Grey of some kind?

JMZ: You want gold on that color. Blue and gold is an amazing combination.

That said, the silver would work nicely with the polished FUCHs. I have a Targa, SC, in Minerva Blue and yours looks much like it. Also running the polished petals/rims FUCHs.

For general info, I have a question. It seems that the "dot" in the "e" of Carrera is pointed to the rear, which would be incorrect.

Also worthy to note that the production of these scripts is also illegal (trademarked script) - so you can add that to his rap sheet.

We sell the original OEM ones from Porsche, but they are about $300/set. But they look right too.

I own a sign company and I think you guys should be aware that there are many different grades of vinyl material. You will want to use a "premium" grade for this application, because it's the thinnest and most flexible, is glossier, and has the best longevity and colorfastness. The "intermediate" or "economy" grades are not as good - the vinyl is thicker and harder, the adhesive is not as good, and they're not as colorfast. The cheaper grades will harden and begin to shrink, curl or crack in a few years (or less), and they will fade faster (especially the reds). The extra thickness also becomes a problem when waxing - there's more edge to catch the wax.

The premium grades (like 3M or Gerber premium) are actually guaranteed for 7 years of exterior exposure, and we find that they can last a lot longer than that if kept clean and waxed. We have customers with fleet vehicles with 10-year-old 3M premium vinyl on them that still looks great.
Additionally, there is only a small difference in price between the various grades, and for projects this small there is almost nothing to be saved by using a cheaper grade.

Again, not to cause anyone any problems, just a heads-up.

3m is what we use....BTW, Carrera is in the public domain, but Porsche is not.

There are two different types of trademarks, word marks and graphic marks.

Carrera is trademarked 104 times for everything from hair jelly to model sets. HOWEVER, it is not trademarked for stickers as Mike is using it nor is it illegal for him to do what he is doing. His product differs from the Porsche trademark which is "Porsche Carrera". He is simply using the word "Carrera". For Porsche to claim exclusivity over the word Carrera, they would need to invalidate all of the other trademarks using the word Carrera regardless of font or typeface. It would be like GE exclusively claiming "toaster" from the mark "GE Toaster" even if your font or typeface was just like theirs with regards to the word "Toaster", it just wouldn't fly in court.

Sounds good, as long as it's "premium". 3M makes intermediate and economy grades too.

Again, not trying to cause you any trouble, Mike, just thought everyone should have the information.

Y E S, it's the premium grade....the guy may be a drunk but he stands behind his work.....if I have my name associated with the product it better be.

Why would anyone put Carrera on an SC? ;>
