Hmmmmm... that won't work... hmmmmm... I'm looking into a project.... a very crazy project....
Something to the tune of taking a pair of split grills from a 356, grafting them to a 911 decklid, and changing the old 911SC font to a more modern 911SC badge. I was thinnking a C4S might work, but upon closer inspection, I don't think it'll fit the bill. Maybe I should just carve my own mold and pour my own out of resin or something...

Or maybe even something along these lines????
I am just beginning to understand Photoshop... so I know this isn't impressive... but the idea is lodged in my head... ![]()

This any help? I like the idea of the split grill. Is it Harald (speedster94)in Germany that has done this?

A really bad example using an early 911 emblem and a 356 SC emblem.

Yup, you're right... Haralds car has the kidney bean grill thing goin' on.
Well, and here I was thinking I'd be original. ![]() I'm thinking of picking up an extra decklid and tring to "split" the grill as shown in my crappy photoshop effort above.

If you really want to do it up, combine a "super" emblem from a 356 with the "carrera" emblem from a 996!

The "S" doesn't seem to be a problem... it's the "C" that is proving to be difficult to find.

Yes this is my Car ,it is metal and was a G-modell Hood ,here is a picture before it was painted . The Idea was to make the Car look like a original Speedster if you approach from the Back ,while Driving most People get only this Side to see anyway .With the normal Decklid it looks to much like a C2 Cab ( at least in my eyes ) . hi Leland,
I have the "911" emblem from the Millenium edition 996 and the "S" from my original Carrera S emblem on the lid of my C2S. (see avatar). Porsche used a split grille on the 993 C2S lid as a bit of a tribute to the end of the air-cooled line. I have the 356 SC emblem sitting around somewhere, but it is the gold version. My memory of its size is hopefully represented in the right scale below. ![]() max

Max, you were able to duplicate EXACTLY what I had in my mind. The 996 script with a curvy SC behind it...
Very cool, thanks a load! I am thinking about polishing the badging to compliment the dark color of my car.
