Sachs Performance Clutches - Advice

Over the next few weeks I will be purchasing a new clutch kit for the on going restoration.
I have seen the following advertised:-

SACHS Performance clutch kits
Kits comprises of the following parts, with some variation depending on the model: pressure plate, disc, release bearing, lightweight flywheel, starter ring gear, guide tube, clutch fork and bolts.

Has any one have any experience of these clutches? Or should I stick with the new original Sachs unit?
The performance clutch is twice the price - is it worth it?

That kit sounds nice but (unless you've looked and noticed otherwise) you may not need the ring gear and guide tube. They are two expensive parts that could save you hundreds of $$ if yours are not bad. It's my understanding that the guide tube and ring gear are not often replaced. Mine did not need to be.

If you are replacing your fork then you probably need the fork bushings as well.
