Stuck Distributor....need advice

I have a 70T. It has a Marelli and I recently purchased a Bosch to replace it. I completely overhauled it and now I am ready to install it. Removed the retaining nut, and even loosened the clamping adjuster screw. All of it is loose, but the thing won't budge. I warmed the car up and tried rotating the distributor to different locations. Other threads mentioned trying that. But it won't even budge slightly.

Any recommendations?

why me every time? sigh..... Can;t one project go smoothly?
