Low production number ?
 

My '77 Targa has a production number of 28. Does having a low number add any value to the car all other things considered equal?

Even if it were a rare model like an RS or? I would think condition and model/options would be a collectors main objective. Now if that number aligned it with a famous person or event/race win it probably would have more value.
I would also think production number 1 would ad value depending on the model.

Thanks Bob, I was just wondering before I make any changes to her and find out later I should have kept it stock.
