911 Emblem Installation -- Pics
I am getting ready to install my new 911 emblem to dress up my ducktail. Cheers to Jack Olsen for giving me the idea and for the emblem style. My question is what should I clean the area with before I "stick" it on? I of course don't want to damage the paint. One more thing-- I went with a chrome emblem because I have a 78 with stainless targa bar and chrome windows and headlight surrounds -- but after studying the car -- should I have gone black?

Clean with soap and water then make sure its fully dry. If you think you may have excessive wax build up on the surface just use a mild cleaner and wipe it down a few times before the soap and water. Wax and grease remover would be best but its really not nessasary .
