$200 helmets are not the same as $1000 helmets and not as strong. Testing is paid for buy the manufacturing co. It's the same as buying a sticker and putting on.

There is no way a $200 Helmet is as strong as a $3000 Carbon fiber helmet. We did test on Helmets where a $200 helmet could not take a impact one time and a $3000 carbon Helmet we could not break it. You head in the place to put money and get the fit you need for you'r head. |

Both FIA and Snell are pass/fail tests. They have never graded helmets on a scale. Every company claims to be superior. None of them have ever released the results of their testing programs nor have these results been evaluated by a neutral 3rd party. At this point the only standardized testing procedures I know of are done by the FIA and the Sell Foundation.

If you did testing on helmets it would be great to share this information with us. Richard Newton |

Are test showed just like I said above the cheep helmets can be penetrated much easier!

Say a spindle breaks off and hits you'er helmet you will be far better off in a helmet that is priced over $500 then a $95 or $200 helmet that just cant take it. My helmet is $1200 this is a good starting point for me any way. |

F1 guys use a helmet for 3 races. I would have thought they got a new one for every race.
