There is no inferiority complex when it comes to owning a SC. It is simply a superiority complex. Don't hate the car because Ferdi himself named it "Super."

I don't hate the SC. I think it's one of the great 911s. I just believe the Carrera is a little better.

Do you have the reference of when Ferdi named it super? It certainly does not appear on any period documentation. There are lots of threads on what SC stands for here and at Rennlist and no one has ever demonstrated that SC stands for anything to my satisfaction. I won't get into discussion on the subject even if winding up SC owners is fun as I have too much work to finish in the next few days:)

Jeeze guys, can we just stop with this SC vs. Carrera crap!! This sounds just like the great LorenFb vs Aftermarket Chip debates (remember those?).

Both are great cars but each are a bit different. I own a Carrera but would certainly have bought an SC, if I could have found a perfect one.
