what engine are these 911 pistons from?

I am looking for some 2.2E pistons to pop in my 2.4L T engine.

Anybody know what engine these pistons came from? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33623&item=2461095290
Item #2461095290

I know thy are not T pistins, but maybe E or S? Or from a 2.7 or 3.0?

Thanks,

Jim Chatfield

I dunno, but it looks like he's offering bratwurst and a bag of ground beef to liven up the bidding.

73.5T (CIS). No good for any other application other than CIS.

According to a listing in Bruce Andersons book:

Pistons for a 2.1 ltr (2041cc) w/66mm stroke are 81mm
Pistons for a 2.3 ltr (2247cc) w/66mm storke are 85mm

All others listed are either bigger or smaller than the above. This may be an incomplete list since there is no listing for a 2.2 or 2.4 ltr motor.

He also shows a picture of the 2.4T CIS piston and it looks similar to the link you have attached but there is no diameter call out.

I confirm -- 2.4 TK. Definitely not what you want. They're only worth something to someone who's rebuilding at 2.4TK to stock condition.
