I just got my seats back from the upholstry shop. What do you think. I know there not the original style inserts but they were able to get it localy.

Now I need a carpet set and some door pockets.

That looks great. Do you mind if I ask how much? You get that done locally? My 73E's sport seats will need to be reupholstered one of these days so this is very interesting to me. Thanks!

Thanks cegerer, I actually was looking at your website and decided to go with the cloth inserts after seeing yours. The shop talked me out of the perferated style though. The shop sandblasted the frame and rewelded the corners, repainted the metal and replaced the webbing and replaced or repaired some of the foam. I dropped them off Wednesday after work and picked them up today. Im very pleased so far. Time will tell how they hold up.

It was a $1000 and they also covered the trim pieces on the top of the rear quarter panels. The shop was in St. Peters, just outside of St. Louis.

Might be a good choice going non-perforated ... after about 2 years of use, I'm noticing a couple of very small cracks between the perfs. I've since been vigilant about using a conditioner on the leather on a regular basis.

Sounds good. How 'bout a close-up of the fabric inserts? Thanks.

I'll go against the grain here & say that the seats look absolutely horrible! You should replace them with standard seats in all plastic ASAP! What to do with these? My dear friend Evren in Istanbul might be willing to take them off your hands. I can't understand why, but he's been frantic in his search for a set of Sports Seats...
