Need help with 930 problem...

I need a little help. My 930 has just started to act up. When I either accelerate or when I down shift I seem to be getting a little wiggle. It seems to move slightly to the right. It is sort of a loose feeling. When I accelerate it's like the right rear wheel is not turning as fast as the left and the rear left side of the rear end is moving ahead of the right. Actually, it seems to get loose in the opposite direction as well right after it moves right. Sort of a wiggle.

Any suggestions of what this might be is appreciated!

Thanks!

Check rear swaybar; the mount could be broken.

Good call Jim, I had this happen twice. Once on each side. Two quick weld jobs and I'm solid. If it is a mount, make sure to take the time to fabricate a good solid replacement.

Eddie:

In no particular order, chassis related ills are often due to:

1) Bad bushings

2) Bad shock(s)

3) Loose rear suspension bolts

4) Low tire pressure

Sometimes a bad CV joint or LSD will do the same things.

tire ply separation? raise it on a rack and see if any of the tires are dramatically out of true as you spin them.

I'm with Steve on this one. If the tire pressures, shocks, ARB mounts, and bushings all check out, my vote would be for the LSD needing repair/rebuild (any noticelable drivetrain "lash"?). Also, make sure your lug nuts are torqued down!
